Portland First Kids offers preschoolers through 5th graders age-appropriate and engaging opportunities for learning, growing, and connecting. We hope to give your kids a place where they feel safe and loved. Using TRU curriculum’s TRU Story for elementary-aged kids and Orange Curriculum’s “First Look” for preschool-aged kids, we aim at equipping your children and families with scripture and life applications in ways that they can understand.
Kids 1st grade to 5th grade will meet for Sunday School at 9:15, and then they go into Kid City (starting at 10:30) for worship, teaching, and small groups.
Kids from 3 to Kindergarten meet for Sunday School at 9:15, and then at 10:30 continue to build upon their life application of scripture through crafts, games, music, and drama.
Infants and toddlers are cared for by loving volunteers in the nursery starting at 9:15.
We keep Portland First Kids organized and secure by using an online registration tool called Planning Center Online for drop-off and pick-up. Registration on Planning Center is safe, secure, and free, and it only takes a few minutes.
We require all of our volunteers to complete a background check. Please click on the button above to complete a background check form online, or request a hard copy from Pastor Wyatt.
