Our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry Egger, his children, and their families following the death of Carol Egger on June 3. A memorial service was held at Portland First Church yesterday. A memorial fund has been established in Carol’s honor, benefitting Kids’ Ministries at Portland First. If you would like to make a donation, please clearly mark your gift, “Egger Memorial.”
Mark Goodwin has resigned as our Pastor to Senior Adults in preparation for his and Debbie’s move to Georgia. Danette Buchanan is assuming this role as of June 16. Please take a moment to thank Mark for his care over the past few months and to welcome Danette to your church staff!
Builders Day Trip
If you have signed up for the Builders Day Trip on July 11, please pay the $40 fee to Nancy Grande THIS WEEK. Please meet at the church building no later than 7:45 a.m. on July 11, and we’ll return by 5:00. We will be touring the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge. The registration fee includes transportation, admissions, lunch, and snacks.

Family Breakfast Next Sunday
Next Sunday, June 25, all families with children are invited to breakfast in the gym during the Sunday School hour! We will have crafts for the kids, as well as a Hungry, Hungry, Hippo game to play! Breakfast starts at 9:15.
Primary camp, for kids entering 2nd-3rd grade, will be held August 7-9, and Junior Camp, for kids entering grades 4-6, will be July 17-21. Registration details at the check-in desk on Level 2.

Next Sunday, June 25, we will celebrate the start of summer break with a laid-back and casual night of fun! Invite your friends to join us! We meet at 5:00 p.m. in the Youth Room.
The registration deadline for Sr. High Camp has passed. Jr. High Camp, for incoming 6th-8th graders, will be held July 31-August 4, and the registration deadline is July 2. Registration links may be found on our Facebook page.
The new missionary books are here! You may check books out from the Missions Center, the Encouragers class, and the Heroes of the Faith class. The titles are: Eyewitness: Seeing from within an Oppressive Society by Gusztinné Tulipán Mária; Living Side by Side: Serving the People of Cactus, Texas by Jenni Monteblanco; Mursi: Reaching the Unreached of Ethiopia by Howie Shute; and WHDL: A Library for the World by Tammy Condon.
