Summer is beginning its retreat, and with the promise of fall comes a new school year. For September’s First Wednesday service, we want to come together to pray for those who will be entering a new season of their lives. Now, more than ever, our country and school systems need our prayers for a safe and successful year teaching the next generation of students who will soon take their place of leadership in our homes, government, workplaces, and churches. Join us Wednesday, September 6, at 6:30 p.m. Please note that no dinner will be served this First Wednesday.
First Step Next Sunday
Everyone is invited to attend First Step next Sunday, September 10, in the Fireside Room (just past the Level 4 restrooms) after the worship service. First Step is designed to help you in your relationship with Jesus Christ – whether you’re a seeker or already a follower of Jesus. It’s designed to assist you in one or more of the following ways:
1. Take your first step into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. Take your first step on the path to seeking Jesus Christ first in your life.
3. Take your first step in your relationship with our community of faith.
4. Take your first step in an intentional process of discipleship.
Please click here to sign up for First Step.
