Men. Gather. Eat. Bacon.
Hey, guys! Join us for our fall Men's Breakfast on Saturday, September 9th at 9:00 am.
We're cooking up a great breakfast that will be served in the youth center. The cost is $5 per person and we can help with the cost for those that need it, so don't let finances keep you from being a part of this. You can register for the breakfast at guest services and pay your $5 at the breakfast.
Pastor Brandin will be sharing with us an encouraging message and it will be a great time to get to know one another better.
Bring someone! Who do you know that needs to get connected with some men seeking after God? This could be a neighbour, a co-worker, a friend, or even a son. Invite them to come with you to the breakfast and experience fellowship with other men who want to become more like Christ. Your invitation may be the catalyst they need in their spiritual journey.
We look forward to seeing you at the breakfast!
“Stretches and Smoothies” combines the art of gentle movement with the “breath of life” providing an opportunity for each lady to “Be still and know that He is God”.
The one hour class will be led by a guest instructor and afterwards we’ll enjoy relaxed conversation and healthy smoothies blended up by Awnna Albright.
There is no charge for this event. Feel free to invite a friend!
Please wear loose, comfy clothing and please bring a mat and a blanket. If you want us to provide these items for you, please indicate when you sign up at the Guest Services desk after service, or call the Church Office at 503-297-6100.
You are invited to attend First Step in the Fireside Room (just past the Level 4 restrooms) at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, August 5. First Step is designed to provide you with more information about the ministry of PDX First and help you find ways to get connected with others. We would love to have you join us for this brief workshop taught by Robb Gossen, Next Gen Pastor.
PDX First is proud to host the 2018 District Assembly "Making Your Mark" for the Nazarene ORPAC District. The Thursday-Friday event will take up most of the day and utilize nearly the entire campus. Together we will be Ordaining a number of new Pastors, hearing from churches in our district, being encouraged by our District Superintendent and being led in worship by our very own Worship & Production Teams.
The Hero's Journey is the crux of any great story. As a person learns about their purpose, building their journey through mentorship the hero is set to succeed only met against odds they can't possibly win. It's only through perseverance and a bit of help that our Hero overcomes the impossible to learn their true self. How does the Hero's Journey fit in to God's great story and where you in the midst of all this? Join us beginning January 7th as we explore these thoughts together.
